Inclusion Quality Mark
“From the moment I arrived at Streatham Wells Primary School as their Inclusion Quality Mark assessor I felt completely at home, and I feel that the parents and children who are part of the school community must feel exactly the same way. The friendliness of the initial welcome; the informal first-name basis for everyone; the cheerful and relaxed staff members; the open-plan school building; and the comfort and functionality focussed attitude to school clothing – it was all very reminiscent of the best of the creative and child-centred education system of the early 1970s, tempered by the best of the 21st Century challenge to succeed”.

“Healthy Schools”
Accreditation
On July 21st 2016 we received our Healthy School accreditation. This means that we have been recognised as providing our children with a culture and environment to support P.S.H.E. (Personal, Social and Health Education) and Citizenship. Examples of this are our teaching of SRE (Sex and Relationships Education), Drug Education, our School Council and the importance that we place on P.E. (Physical education) both during and after school.
Schools’ achievements recognised
by Transport for London
A number of Lambeth schools applied for Transport for London’s Sustainable Travel accreditation. This accreditation is to reward schools for promoting sustainable travel and is comprised of 3 levels: Sustainable (bronze), Higher (silver) and Outstanding (gold). All Lambeth schools who applied were successful and were invited to award ceremonies held at the Royal Festival Hall and The Natural History Museum. S
Special congratulations go to Streatham Wells Primary School, the only Lambeth school receiving Higher (silver) level accreditation this year.
