Our Curriculum
At Streatham Wells we believe in teaching hearts and minds.
We deliver a curriculum which promotes academic excellence as well as supporting physical and mental wellbeing. We aim to foster learners to create a future generation more enlightened than the current.
We are proud of our diverse community and the rich heritages and languages which make up our school.
We have books, texts and topics which represent a global view of the world, and allow children space to critically think about how to make the world a better place.
We teach children to look after the environment around then, and have a wonderful outdoor space in which to develop their love of the outdoors and nature.
We also develop young sports people, who are fit and healthy, who thrive on both working in a team but also have the initiative to work individually.
With this, we make sure all required elements of the National Curriculum are studies by the children and that staff follow the guidance outlined and implement this into our curriculum maps.
– promotes the spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development of pupils
at the school and of society, and
– prepares pupils at the school for the opportunities, responsibilities and
experiences of later life.
