Welcome to Streatham Wells Primary School
‘Great Oaks from little Acorns grow’
Streatham Wells Primary School is a single-form entry school in the London Borough of Lambeth.
We are a small, friendly and caring school where everyone is committed to providing the very best learning opportunities for our children. We are very proud of our school and will be happy to show you around to enable you to become fully informed before making the decision to apply for a place.
‘Stimulating and engaging teaching is in evidence across the school and is used effectively to capture the interest and imagination of pupils. As a result of this, pupils are highly motivated, engage extremely well in learning and make strong levels of progress in lessons. Teachers have consistently high expectations of what pupils can achieve and there is an industrious atmosphere in classes where everyone works hard and is happy.’ Teaching and learning review 2017 Led by Dr P.Watts School advisor , lead OFSTED inspector
“Pupils’ exemplary behaviour contributes strongly to the progress they make in lessons. They love coming to school and always try their best. They say they feel safe in school”.

Special Educational Needs
Streatham Wells Primary School is an inclusive school and we ensure that all pupils are included in all aspects of school life. We aim to encourage children to make the best possible progress in school.
“A new curriculum has been introduced and the school’s website gives parents and carers a clear picture of what their children will be learning. Learning is organised in topics, with appropriate emphasis on English and mathematics being taught separately but also part of the work in topics”. (Ofsted)
